FAQs for Serene by Nature cream:
When should I start my mare using the cream?
When a mare’s estrus (season/heat cycle) has ended, begin applying the cream daily for 15 days. Ideally, apply a heaping 1/4 teaspoon twice a day. Can be applied once a day using a heaping 1/2 teaspoon.
What if I don’t know when my mare’s last estrous ended and I want to start on the cream right away?
Start on the cream on any day and discontinue when the mare begins her next estrus.
What should I do if I have a horse show and I want to help my horse to be their best?
Knowing where your mare is at in her cycle is crucial and by using the cream, you can help her maintain a regular cycle. If she is due to come into estrus (season/heat) during the show/event dates, you may continue usage rather than taking the recommended 6 days off of the cream. This may ‘stall’ her estrus for a few days. If she does come into estrus while at the show/event, keep her on the cream until after the show. Then discontinue cream for 6 days or until her estrous ends, whichever comes first.
How long until I see results?
Some mares may show attitude improvements within the first week. Most mares show an improved mood within the first 21 day cycle. Mares who are really out of balance may take as long as 3 cycles to see results. Balancing the body naturally means giving it the time it needs to heal itself.

Can I use this cream during my mare’s off season when she is not having regular cycles?
Most mares are more even tempered in their ‘off months’ (Winter months) and may not need the cream. If a mare does become moody when not on the cream, she may well benefit from resuming usage. Using a smaller dosage of cream such as only a 1/4 teaspoon per day may be sufficient during the winter months. Use the minimum amount needed daily to maintain your mare’s moods. Use for 15 days and take 6 days off, repeat.
