A natural and effective solution to balancing and regulating a mares reproductive cycle is Serene By Nature.  Mares may benefit with regular, and healthy cycles, from this unique bio-identical cream.

A healthy cycle is essential to a successful conception and gestation.

Here is a heart warming (and relatable) testimonial from Vanessa regarding her beloved mare Ruby, who is now (Happily!!) nearly 90 days pregnant…

(Be sure to check out her video below!)

We have been on the road traveling with my mare Ruby for several years since she was five.  She had always seemed to have a regular cycle, but would have a very reactive day with erratic behavior.

She was having times where she had very painful cycles and her erratic behavior was getting much worse.

Fun Testimonials ~ with Videos ~ Shared by Happy and Serene Horse Lovers…

Our latest testimonial is actually about a life saved by Serene by Nature!!

Before using Serene by Nature my mare was an absolute terror. She attacked her grooms, flipped over on her riders, kicked, bit, and charged people (Once she even grabbed a jockey and yanked him off of another horse!). Every time she was handled she had to have an extra set of eyes on her for the safety of the handler.

Dream was a racehorse and eventually had to be retired because of her behavior, she was just too dangerous and was not worth trying to race. At the track they gave her 60 cc’s of UGUARD a day hoping that would help her, but it didn’t help.

A year after she was retired, as she still hadn’t changed. We took her in, when the track was done trying to deal with her, and we had her tested and treated for ulcers. Then we turned her out in a large grassy field for a year, and left her alone in hopes she would settle. She never did.

We then started her on raspberry leaves, UGUARD pellets, Redmond Stress Relief, ViaCalm, Aloe Vera juice, and 4 cc’s a week of Medroxyprogesterone via IV. She was kept on that regimen for about 6 months without much change.

We had started looking at the option of putting her down because she was too dangerous to handle.

Then we found Shelly, and Serene by Nature, and just 2 days after using it she was starting to change for the better!

What if USEF bans Medroxy for Geldings and Stallions…?

Serene-Mare-Cathy

What would happen in the show rings across the country if all the horses currently using Medroxy (MPA) were suddenly pulled off of it…?

This could cause many show ring nightmares for the horses pulled off of their MPA, but as well, miss-behaving horses can often upset the entire show.

Serene-Going-Bonkers

Following the 2017 USEF Annual Meeting in January, USEF President Murray Kessler created a panel to investigate, analyze, and make recommendations to the Board of Directors concerning the use of MPA. The panel recommended that beginning September 1, 2017, the USEF would require medication report forms to be filed for horses treated with MPA if the horse had received treatment within three months of the competition start date.

This usage data along with additional proprietary research will be assessed once available and further recommendations, if indicated, will be made at that time.

In March 2017, the USEF conducted a public workshop to address concerns that have been voiced regarding the efficacy, safety, and use of MPA in competition horses. Then in June 2017, USEF hosted a joint Town Hall with the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) at the Upperville Colt and Horse Show.

The next USEF committee meeting is January 2018 and the usage of MPA is a main topic on the schedule.

Synthetic versus Natural hormones

Serene-green-pasture

Synthetic Progestins and Oxytocin are not the same as Natural Progesterone.

Medical literature tends to equate natural progesterone with synthetic progestins and this assumption is altogether incorrect. These days horse folks are giving their equines synthetic hormones, just in the hopes of winning a blue ribbon, or even control breeding and gestation.
